Becoming a Candidate

Candidates for the Elders Council must be a member of the Temple Discord and hold the Templar role. Candidates are responsible for nominating themselves. They can resign from their nomination at any time.

How to Become a Candidate

Once you have the Templar NFT,

1. In the TempleDAO Discord server, type /gov nominate and hit enter

you will see a notification that your nomination is being processed

2. After a short period of time, you will receive a prompt from Observance stating that your nomination is successful

3. Visit the dApp to view your nomination on the front end.

How to Resign Candidacy

If you no longer wish to be a candidate for the Council of Elders, you may resign at any time.

1. Type /gov resign and hit enter

the notification you will receive upon running the command

2. Once your resignation has processed, you will receive the following notification
