What to do if you do not accept the sponsor role

Do not just ignore the request, get back to the MC and let them know why you cannot accept the sponsorship.

This might be because you’re too busy/have too many on your plate (explain this).

Or if might be because you don’t think the project is valuable (explain and open a discussion around this).

Either way, make sure you engage with the MC and help them come to a resolution (change the project, or find a new sponsor, etc.)
