How to conjure Upper Chambers (channels)

Upper Chambers are channels in Discord. Upper Chambers can either be Enclave specific or a Product Chamber.

For example, Marketing-Chamber is a Chaos channel because it is specific to that enclave’s function and purpose. Temple-core is a Product channel because it is a place for product work and therefore calls on all enclaves.

Often times, Upper chambers will have lower chambers associated with them to help focus the workstreams, but not all Upper Chambers will need/require threads.

When you create a new chamber, an update will be shared in #shrine so that the rest of the team is aware of this new chamber.

You need to be an initiate or above to start a new upper chamber.

When it comes to creating Chambers and assigning certain roles, the type of chamber/roles you can command depends on your rank role (Acolyte to Master).

• Masters and Initiates can create Upper and Lower Chambers (channels and threads).

• Disciples can create Lower chambers (threads), but not Upper chambers (channels).

  • Watchers and Acolytes cannot create any chambers. If they have an idea for a proposal, they should gather support from a Disciple+ to assist with create a Sapling thread under the appropriate Upper Chamber.

To create an Upper Chamber:

In the relevant Discord Category (Enclave or Releases), type /chamber conjure

1. imension: start typing or select Upper, hit enter

2. name: Type the name of this new lower chamber, hit enter

To convert Existing Upper Chambers

In the Chamber you’d like to convert, simply type /chamber conjure and hit enter.

Do not input dimension and name.

Once your chamber has been created, you’ll want to build out your team and start progressing the chamber through stages.
